Simone Biles

Simone Biles was an American gymnast who was born on March 14, 1997 in the city of Columbus, Ohio. Biles is believed to be among the top athletes. She also won the world championship for all-around three times consecutively (2013-15). Biles is from Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) adopted them. The Biles family grew up in the metropolitan areas of Houston. Simone was first drawn to gymnastics while she was only six years old. Her coach Aimee Borman took her to Bannon's Gymnastix which was where they went for an excursion. Biles took home a medal for vaulting, and also a medal in floor during the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. She began playing in elite levels of competition. Within less than two years, she was the best in her sport. Biles was notable by her consistent performance, her exuberant attitude and the level of challenge she made every event - vault bar, uneven bars the balance beam, and the ground work.
