Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American actress, model, writer and animal rights activist. Ali MacGraw is famous for movies such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. The daughter of a family of artists in New York she wished to pursue a career in the field of arts. After working as an assistant to photographers then she turned her attention to modeling and acting. The first two films she appeared in, she was recognized and won the Golden Globe Award as Most promising young actress. MacGraw became an international star after her 1970 movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. Within three years, MacGraw was ranked as the most popular female box-office starter in the whole world. Her handprints and autograph were engraved at Grauman's Chinese Theater. In addition, she was a part of The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, as well as other movies. Her autobiography Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw got married to three different people.
