Coleman was born in Blackpool Lancashire. She attended Arnold School Blackpool as head girl, and she received every A grade on her A level exams. In a discussion about her Emmerdale role, Coleman stated that she regrets that she did not have a traditional college experience. Coleman performed on Crystal Clear at the Edinburgh Festival as part of a group called In Yer Space, which she participated in when she was at the school. She won an award for her performance, and the show was received favourably. While auditioning for drama school, Coleman landed the part of Jasmine Thomas in Emmerdale in 2005. In 2007, Coleman was nominated for two awards. In the British Soap Awards she was named Best Newcomer, and during the National Television Awards she was nominated as the Most Popular Newcomer. In 2009 she won nominations for two categories which included Best Actress-Sexiest Women and Best Dramatic Performance. Coleman was awarded a Television Choice Award nomination for Best Actress. Steven Moffat announced at a Doctor Who press conference on 21 March that Coleman has replaced Karen Gillan as the companion of the Doctor since Arthur Darvill left the series, would be playing the role alongside Matt Smith. Moffat claimed that he selected Coleman to play the role of companion because she could work best with Smith. Also, Moffat noted that she spoke faster than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Her involvement in the field of film since 1987. She is however, more known for TV projects instead of films. Eva is most well-known for her role on the show Dr. Maria Santos on All My Children and as the detective Natalia Boa Vistas in CSI Miami. The character of Dr. Maria Santos from All My Children garnered its the two Daytime Emmy nominations. This allowed her to display her talent in music. Eva is also an entrepreneur, philanthropist and philanthropist. Eva is married to three men and has one child born from the third.
