Lis Wiehl is an American journalist and legal analyst who used to be the Fox News analyst.
She has been an adjunct professor of Law in New York Law School and was previously an Associate Professor at the University of Washington Law School. She has been a legal analyst for the National Public Radio's radio program and The Radio Factor hosted by Bill O'Reilly. She's appeared as a guest on The O'Reilly Factor and Your World With Neil Cavuto. The Kelly File is a show with Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs and the Imus Morning Shows.
Wiehl was raised in Yakima, Washington, and she graduated from West Valley High School in Yakima. She earned her bachelor's from Barnard College, followed by a master of arts in literature from University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl worked as an attorney at the US Attorney's Office. She was an NPR legal correspondent. She was "the Chief Investigative Counsel for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee during Clinton's impeachment." She was a tenured professor of law in the University of Washington School of Law, Seattle from 1995-2001 She also directed an organization called the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl was employed as a Fox News legal analyst from 2001 to 2017.
