Born to Rochester, New York, Sharp was immersed in music and studied the clarinet as well as piano and cello at the highly regarded Hochstein School of Music. Sharp's passion for theatre in high school led her to the Boston Conservatory where she was awarded the scholarship. Cum Laude, where she earned an B.F.A. Sharp decided to make a move into theater after completing her Cum Laude degree with an B.F.A. Sharp was a part of her first Broadway National Tour of Carousel The show debuted Off Broadway as Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and performed in eight roles in the hilarious comedy Eat the Runt. Sharp also appeared in Abyssinia as well as Aida. Other performances included: Thunder Knockin', Jitney and The Producers. Sharp is working on several original projects that include screenplays as well as plays. She sings as often as she can, and has a full-length album currently in the process of being recorded. When she's not working either front of or behind the camera, or in the studio recording songs, Sharp has a love of fitness. She is always shape boxing and studying Krav Maga.. She is also a piano player along with hiking, and taking long roadstrips. Sharp is a resident of Los Angeles.
