Sharp was a student of clarinet, keyboard as well as cello at the Hochstein School of Music in Rochester. Sharp's love for theatre at school was the reason she applied to The Boston Conservatory, where she received a scholarship. Cum Laude graduated with a B.F.A. at the Conservatory, Sharp set her goals for the stage. She performed in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel The show debuted Off Broadway in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and played eight different roles in the interactive comedy Eat the Runt. Other theatrical shows include Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp read alongside writer August Wilson himself. Sharp has other ideas which she's working on alongside her projects for stage and screen. Sharp performs and is in the process of putting together a full length album. If she's not in front of or behind the camera or recording in the studio the music of her choice, Sharp has a love for fitness and stays in fitness classes and learning Krav Maga.. She likes piano as well, hiking and long journeys. Sharp lives in Los Angeles with family.
